當你踏進海口村，風會先為你開場。它穿越山丘與老屋，拂過田野與海港，像說書人一般娓娓道來地方的節奏與生活的聲音。在這座風的村落裡，我們讓藝術不再是外來的景觀，而是從土地中自然萌生的語言—從勞動、節氣、日常中孕育而成，回到生活的土壤。在這裡，藝術不是被觀看的對象，而是一場與地方共振的生活節奏。我們邀你與風同行，走進海口，走進一段屬於此地的時間與故事。
Prelude of the Wind: Village Zone
Where the Wind Rises, Into the Rhythm of the Land
When you step into Haikou Village, the wind greets you first. It moves through hills and old houses, brushes past fields and the harbor, like a storyteller gently revealing the rhythms and voices of local life. In this village shaped by the wind, art is no longer an external scenery, but a language that naturally grows from the land—born from labor, seasons, and the everyday, returning to the soil of life. Here, art is not merely something to look at, but a living rhythm that resonates with the place. We invite you to walk with the wind, step into Haikou, and enter a time and story that belong to this land.

風與旬的感官記錄
「旬」，是一種與風土共生的時間單位，是季節裡最適切、最有滋味的片刻。在港灣展區，藝術不再只是眼睛觀看的對象，而是一場讓身體感官重新對準自然節奏的過程。我們邀你走進海口的濱海場域，任憑風引領，從味覺到視覺、從記憶到當下，感受風與旬的層層堆疊與溫柔觸動。
整個港灣展區，以風為引、以旬為核，讓藝術不為地方貼上符號化的標籤，而是協助你用身體、用感官，重新閱讀地方的節奏與脈動。在風與時間的交會處，我們邀請你以一種更敏銳、更親密的姿態，重新感知這片海口的當令風景。
Touch of Seasonality: Harbor Zone
A Sensory Records of Wind and Season
Xun is a time unit that emerges from living with the land—the most fitting, most flavorful moments within a season. In the Harbor Exhibition Area, art is no longer something viewed only with the eyes, but a process that re-aligns the body’s senses with the rhythms of nature. We invite you into Haikou’s coastal landscape, letting the wind lead the way as you move from taste to sight, from memory to the present moment, feeling the layered and gentle touch of wind and xun.
Throughout the entire Harbor Area, wind acts as the guide and xun as the core. Here, art does not impose symbolic labels on the place; instead, it helps you rediscover the local rhythm and pulse through your body and senses. At the intersection of wind and time, we invite you to perceive Haikou’s seasonal landscape with heightened sensitivity and renewed intimacy.

看海美術館：《劉棟的當令風景個展》
Stitching Wind and Earth｜Danny Liu’s Seasonal Landscapes
今年落山風藝術季中，看海美術館邀請到活躍於國際、來自屏東的拼布藝術家劉棟，以其獨具辨識度的纖維語彙回應他對海口風土的深刻感知。他以布料層層堆疊出大地、海洋與日常生活的風景，彷彿以針線縫合時間的紋理與記憶的片段。展覽核心概念「風與旬的感官記錄」中，「旬」象徵著與土地節奏共鳴的時間尺度。劉棟透過解構與重組物件，呈現出既熟悉又帶著距離的景色。藝術在此並非為地方貼上標籤，而是邀請觀者以身體與感官重新閱讀海口的節奏與當令之美。
At the Sea-Viewing Art Museum, Pingtung-born artist Danny Liu uses patchwork to express his perception of local landscapes. Layered fabrics become earth, ocean, and everyday scenery, gently stitching together time and memory. The exhibition centers on “Sensory Records of Wind and Xun,” where xun represents a time rhythm in tune with the land. By deconstructing and recomposing textiles, Liu creates vistas that feel both distant and familiar. Rather than labeling a place, the works invite viewers to reconnect with Haikou through their senses and experience the beauty of what the land offers in its own season.

與地方重新連結的想像之境
當步伐在沙灘上逐漸放慢，想像力便悄悄展開。在落山風最深處的海邊，藝術家以自己的觀察與敏感度，將海風、光影與地平線重新組構，打造出一片介於現實與想像之間的全新場域。這裡沒有明確的邊界，而是由土地記憶延伸出的開放空間，使人得以暫時離開日常，重新感受海口的節奏與呼吸。
在這片柔軟的沙地上，藝術不再只是回望，而是與地方共同孕育新夢的開始。作品在風中被形塑，也為風留下形狀；觀者在其中行走，既穿越海口，也穿越自己的感受與想像。我們邀請你在此停下腳步，以五感閱讀這片被重新定義的海岸風景，與海口相遇，也與自己相遇。

Echoes of the Sea: Beach Zone
A Poetic Realm for Reimagining Our Connection to Place
When your steps begin to slow on the sand, the imagination quietly opens. At the shoreline where the northeasterly wind is at its strongest, the artist gathers his observations and sensitivities to reassemble sea breeze, light, and horizon—creating a space suspended between reality and imagination. There are no fixed boundaries here; instead, an open terrain shaped by the land’s memory, allowing visitors to step away from the routines of daily life and attune themselves once more to Haikou’s rhythm and breath.
On this soft expanse of sand, art is no longer a gesture of looking back, but the beginning of a new dream co-created with the place itself. The works take form in the wind and, in turn, give form back to it. As visitors walk through, they move not only across Haikou but through their own sensations and imagination. We invite you to pause here, to read this re-defined coastal landscape with all your senses, to meet Haikou—and to meet yourself.
