Haikou is a place sculpted by the wind.
Each winter, the Luoshan Wind descends from the mountains,sweeping through villages and harbors,stirring the trees and dunes,and flowing into the daily rhythm of life.
Here, time is not measured by seconds,but by the turning of the seasons—spring planting,summer tending, autumn harvesting, and winter storing.
The cycle of nature becomes a living calendar, guiding people to breathe in sync with the land.
在這片讓人放慢腳步、重新學會感知的土地上，我們回到一個根本的提問：
藝術可以如何回應地方？又是否能成為人與環境重新連結的媒介？
在一處被風與時間雕刻的海口港，作為藝術實踐的場域。藝術不再被束縛於白盒子，而是回到漁港、沙灘、老屋與街道之間，與真實的風土節奏共同呼吸。透過裝置、聲音、氣味與行動，藝術在這裡不再疏離，而是從土地中生長而出，與勞動交織，對節氣有所回應，成為一種可被感知、參與與生成的生活實踐。
On this coast where one learns to slow down and feel again,we return to a fundamental question:
How can art respond to a place? Can it become a medium through which people reconnect with their environment?
At Haikou Port—where wind and time have carved every surface—art becomes a field of practice. It leaves behind the white cube,returning to fishing harbors, beaches, old houses, and narrow streets, to breathe with the real rhythm of the land. Through installations, sound, scent, and action, art here is not distant; it grows from the soil, intertwines with labor, responds to the seasons, and becomes a way of living—something to be sensed, shared, and continually renewed.
我們相信，藝術不應只「呈現」土地，而是邀請人們重新「進入」土地。從村落的生活節奏，到港灣的味覺記憶，最終於沙灘的風中暫留—這是一場不急於抵達的旅程，一次關於「慢慢感覺」的藝術行走。正如約翰・柏格（John Berger）所說：「感知的方式，決定我們與世界的關係。」在這場行走中，我們以身體作為感官的容器，重新丈量地方、時間與自身的關係。
We believe that art should not only represent the land, but invite us to re-enter it.From the village’s daily pulse, to the taste of the harbor, and finally, to a brief pause in the wind along the shore—this is a journey without haste, an artful walk about feeling, slowly.
As John Berger once wrote, “The way we see determines our relationship with the world.”
In this journey, the body becomes a vessel of perception—measuring again our relation to place, to time, and to ourselves.
展區介紹
展覽分為三個展區，是因為海口的風土有著由村落到港灣、再到沙灘的自然層次。以「風、旬、海」串連三地景，讓觀者在移動中循序感受地方的節奏與故事。

藝術不只是被觀看的對象，而是生活自然流動的一部分；土地也不只是展覽的背景，而是孕育故事的主體。「看！海口」是一場以風土、節氣與感官為軸的藝術季，邀請觀者以五感為線索，走入海口，展開一段關於季節流轉與地方記憶的旅程。
透過風，我們摸索時間的方向；透過旬，我們找回身體的節奏；透過藝術，我們再次練習看見—看見地方，看見世界，也看見自己。
海風吹起，邀請我們從「看」重新出發，與海口相遇，也與自己相遇。
Here, art is not merely something to be seen—it becomes part of daily life. The land is not merely a backdrop, but a living subject itself.
“Look! Haikou” is an art festival woven from the wind, the seasons, and the senses—an invitation to experience the shifting tides of time and the stories of place through one’s own perception.
Through the wind, we touch time.
Through the seasons, we rediscover rhythm.
Through art, we learn to see again.

Haikou Canteen｜A Meal, a Movement of Its Own
在海口村一座荒廢四十年的老石屋裡，
我們以「料理 × 月琴 × 故事 × 港口茶」
打造一場專屬海口的多感官體驗。
旅經多國的料理職人以敏銳味覺走進海口，
把初次感受到的風、海與人情化為一份限定料理。
月琴隨著上桌的食物在石屋裡響起，
以歌聲與故事帶出村落的記憶與地方的節奏。
一餐、一段琴聲、一則故事、一杯茶，
構成屬於海口的完整演出，
讓你在老屋裡，用五感重新認識海口。
Inside a stone house in Haikou Village that has stood abandoned for forty years,we craft a multisensory experience unique to Haikou—Cuisine x Moon Lute x Storytelling x Gangkou Tea.
Chefs who have traveled the world enter Haikou with a sensitive palate,transforming their first encounters with the village’s wind, sea,and human warmth into a limited-edition meal.
As each dish is served, the moon lute (yueqin) begins to resonate within the stone walls,its songs and stories unfolding memories of the village and the rhythms of everyday life.
One meal, one melody, one story, and one cup of tea— together form a complete performance that invites you to rediscover Haikou with all five senses in this ancient house.

Cape Phone Booth: Art Festival Information Kiosk
海風在港口邊輕輕吹拂，白色電話亭靜靜佇立在海面光影之間。此處備有 DM 可自由取閱，並放置《落山風藝術季》專屬印章。旅人可購買限量明信片，蓋章後投入「海角電話亭」的專屬郵筒，由藝術季小天使代為寄出，為旅程留下最獨一無二的記憶。
With the sea breeze drifting through the harbor, a white phone booth stands quietly amid shimmering reflections. Here, visitors can pick up free brochures and use the exclusive stamp of the Luo Shan Feng Art Festival.
Travelers may purchase limited-edition postcards, stamp them, and drop them into the dedicated mailbox inside the Cape Phone Booth. The “festival little helper” will help send them out—creating the most unique memento of your Haikou journey.
